Our Family Christmas

This year I had planned on having our family Christmas get-together at our house but due to our remodeling I didn't have an oven, everything is a mess, and I didn't bother decorating. However, we do have a stove at hubby's shop, so I did all my cooking there. I also decorated a small tree and did a pretty tablescape for our dinner. With the exception of a few little incidents, we had a nice Christmas with our family. Having a white Christmas for the first time in many years was also nice. Hubby and I spent Christmas day alone relaxing, watching Christmas movies and eating leftovers. I enjoyed the day but I'm so ready to get out and do something. Except for walking over to his shop a few times, I haven't been out since Wednesday. In others words, I haven't been away from here in 4 days and my chances of getting out today are not looking too good because the snow is still coming down. I've enjoyed it but I'm ready for it to go away. I'll stop whining now. I hope all of you had a wonderful and blessed Christmas.

Christmas blessing to you and your family. Hope you can get out soon. I actually sat outside on a chaise with a big comforter over me. It snowed all over me, but it was fun watching the children enjoy the snow, and get some fresh air.
