Hello

Wow, it has been a long time since I have really posted anything. I had intended to delete this blog and keep my other one but once I started moving things around, I soon discovered it was going to take more time than I had to spare. So I have decided to keep this one and probably delete the other one. Alot has been going on around here. First, Skylar is in the hospital for the second time in a month. A few weeks ago he became very sick and was hospitalized for staph and E-coli infections. He also has numerous kidney and bladder stones. After 5 days he came home with an IV and his mom and I administered his antibiotics for 10 days. After the IV was removed, he started taking oral antibiotics but he never got to feeling any better. He was sick all last week but refused to go to the doctor or hospital. He had tickets Friday night to see Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert in concert and was determined to go despite running a fever and feeling bad. He made it through most of the concert but had to be rushed to the hospital before it was over. He has some serious infections and pneumonia. All visitors have to wear masks and gloves. To make matters worse, he has finally decided to start looking towards his future as a quadriplegic and get back to his schoolwork. He started classes 2 weeks ago and now he risks falling behind because of his illness. I pray he is well very soon and does not get so far behind in his classes that he can't catch up. Secondly, I have also been having a few health issues but I'll wait and discuss those in another post. I have also joined facebook and would love to hear from any of you who have one also.
