Labor Day Weekend

Everything is very busy around here. My son's wedding is on the 12th which is 1 week away and we are all busy preparing for it. I still have the floral arrangements to complete and the columns have to be decorated. I hope to have those done by Sunday. September is a special month for our family. Besides our son's upcoming wedding next week , my husband and I will be celebrating our 31st anniversary on the 15th and hubby will be celebrating his 50th birthday on the 28th. Hubby's dad, W.L., will also be celebrating his 72nd birthday on the 25th (he still works everyday with my husband building houses). On a sadder note, my hubby's mother passed away 27 years ago on the 16th. She died suddenly at the age of 42. The day after my hubby's and my 4th wedding anniversary and our son was 3 weeks old. She was a wonderful person and still missed very much. I know she would be proud and happy for all of us. Now, it is time to get off of here and get to bed, my day will be starting very early in the morning and probably ending late, so I need to get my rest. I hope to have more time to visit and post after next week. I am sure that I will have lots of pictures to share with everything we have going on this month.I hope all of you have a wonderful and safe Labor Day weekend.

I have another poem that I would like to share with you:

Always
~Poet Unknown ~

Always,
Be understanding to your enemies.
Be loyal to your friends.
Be strong enough to face the world each day.
Be weak enough to know you cannot do everything alone.

Always,
Be generous to those who need your help.
Be frugal with that you need yourself.
Be wise enough to know that you do not know everything.
Be smart enough to continue learning.

Always,
Be willing to share your joys.
Be willing to share the sorrows of others.
Be a leader when you see a path others have missed.
Be a follower when you are shrouded by the mists of uncertainty.

Always,
Be first to congratulate an opponent who succeeds.
Be last to criticize a colleague who fails.
Be sure where your next step will fall, so that you will not tumble.
Be sure of your final destination, by setting your goals along the way.

Above all,
always be yourself.

Good luck with the wedding. September is a busy month for us also. My son's birthday is on the 13th and my husbands parent's birthday are on the 23rd and 25th. Plus there are a few other family members with birthdays this month also.
