Monday Ramble

Saturday night was Alabama's first football game of the season and we had the privilege of puppy sitting Maya for our daughter. Maya came dressed for the game in her little Alabama Crimson Tide jersey and of course she has her little football. I put her hair bow in but she didn't keep it in very long, I don't know how she can see anything but that is the ways she likes it. However, I am sure she will be visiting the groomers very soon because she has gotten to where she does not like to be combed so she will have to have a hair cut to remove all the tangles. She spent the night with us and our daughter came and picked her up the next morning. Today they came by for a little visit and we enjoyed seeing them. My husband and I were up and outside working by 6:30 this morning. Unfortunately, my husband cut our son's phone line while digging holes to plant flowers but he was able to repair it. Our son, Lee and Morgan, our soon-to-be daughter-in-law helped us and we were able to get the weed beds cleaned out. I am serious, there really was more weeds than flowers in the flower bed by the gazebo. It looks so much better and I will plant the flowers tomorrow. I did manage to finish all the floral arrangements for the tables and I almost have the columns decorated. I still have a few other little floral arrangements and I should be done. This will be another very busy week with the wedding being Saturday. I am excited and I know Morgan and Lee are as well. They will be flying to Hawaii on Monday for their honeymoon. I pray they have a fun and safe trip but I will be happy when they are safely back home. I really need to go and get off of here, I have a lot to do tomorrow and I need to get to bed so I will feel like doing it.
