Wow, it seems like such a long time since I have actually written a post and although I have missed doing so, I must admit that I needed the time away to get caught on things around here. Unfortunately, between going to Skylar's, working in the vegetable garden, flower gardens and house, I am still busy as ever but I love all that I do . . . I get tired but never bored. I got out early this morning and made pictures of some of my flowers to post but because it was so many of them, I decided to post a few today and do more over the next few days. Today I am showing off our storm cellar. We have had it about 25 years and while we don't use it very often, it is nice knowing that we have one if we need it. Actually, some of our neighbors use it more than we do. If we are under a tornado warning they usually come and get inside whether we do or not. I do not like being inside it and usually don't go in unless my husband demands asks me to. Tomorrow I will be posting pictures of our goldfish pond. I hope you have a safe and happy weekend.

A closer view of some of the flowers which are still small . . . I planted them 3-4 weeks ago.
The top of the storm cellar. I don't know the name of this plant but the neighbor who gave it to me said it was a type of moss. It is very hardy and drought tolerant.
The steps leading down into it. I love the moss growing on the rocks. I didn't plant it . . . it is natural.

Really great! I am glad you are enjoying your time out side. It has to be done quick as it gets too hot as summer goes on!
Hugs, Lisa
