Spring Cleaning Check In

Today is check in day for those of us who are participating in the spring cleaning challenge hosted by "Real Me" at Meaningful Days . Two weeks ago I cleaned our front porch and last week I had plans to clean my laundry room. I did get started on the laundry room but I have not finished yet. I also meant to make a few photos of the front porch immediately after I finished cleaning it but I never got around to it. I made these photos of the porch tonight and the shutters already have pollen on them again and I still haven't replaced my wreath. We had a storm come through on Sunday that messed my ferns up. They are now about half the size (thickness) they were before. Luckily they usually fill back out rather fast. We have had several bad storms around here lately. One of our large bradford pear trees was broken in half during one of the storms a few weeks ago. That same storm uprooted many large trees in our area and caused damage to several homes. We are very thankful that we only lost a tree when so many others lost so much. I hope that the storms are over and we can enjoy spring. Thank you for stopping by .
