Monday Ramble

It has almost been a week since I have been able to post because my keyboard stopped working. I was able to visit my favorite blogs but was not able to type any comments or anything. This is the third keyboard that I have had in the past 4 years and I really don't use it all that often. I have too much to do around here to spend much time on the computer. In fact, I have had a very busy morning today. I managed to get up early and walk a mile and then I worked in the vegetable garden and watered my flowers. I came inside and did a few dishes, put a load of laundry in the washer, took a load out of the dryer, folded and put them away; changed the sheets on the bed and made it up; cleaned the master bathtub & shower, vanity and toilet, swept and mopped the bedroom and bathroom floor, ironed a few things and now I am taking my computer break. I usually allow myself 1 hour in the morning to do my blogging and read a few of my favorites. Later in the evening, if I have some extra time and my husband is busy or napping I will get back on and read more. I also use this time to read and sometimes update Skylar, my nephew's, carepage, although it has been a while since I have done that. One would thimk I would have alot of extra time with me being a stay at home wife and empty nester but I actually do not have enough time for everything that needs to be done. Which means that I need to get off this computer and get busy. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great afternoon.

Hi dearest!
I can vouch for what you say about being at home and that one would think that you had all the time in the world to do things but when I got married, I was a stay at home wife for four years and never had a moments peace! It wasn't until went into the workfield that I got some peace at last...lol! It really is hard work being at home.

You know Elizabeth, I too am a stay at home wife and a so called empty nester and I do not have time for all kinds of things. My day starts at 5 a.m. and ends when I hit the hay which is usually around 10-10:30 pm. At the same time my husband and I are ranch-hands so my stay at home thing is in the vicinity of and on the ranch. Our lives are so busy and full. We do take time here and there to swat mosquitoes or blackflies hahaha!
To change the subject thank-you for your thoughts and comments You are so full of mercy and tenderness. Some day we will meet I am sure either here or in heaven God Bless Roxanne
