Puppy Sitting for Maya

We are puppy sitting Maya again while our daughter is out of town. I showed some pictures of Maya on here last month when she stayed with us but she has changed alot since then. A few weeks ago Jacqueline carried Maya and left her to be groomed. Shortly afterwards she received a call from the groomers saying Maya needed to be shaved because her fur was becoming matted. Jacqueline has been very particular with her and kept her combed but she felt that they were the experts so she told them to go ahead if that is what needed to be done. When she picked Maya up, Jacqueline was very unhappy and called me crying. The puppy looked so funny ....I tried my best to comfort her by telling her it would probably be cooler on Maya with the summer months ahead. The vet also said it was good for her but Jacqueline is still having a hard time dealing with it. I have to admit there was a huge difference in her appearance but her fur is growing back.
