The weather in my neck of the woods:
A beautiful fall day with the temperature in the upper 60's.
One of my simple pleasures:
A nice long bath by candle light.
On my bedside table:
Lamp, candles, our childrens's photographs and a small book of poems my son gave me for Mothers Day 7 years ago.
On my TV:
I am not watching anything at this time but I did watch Little People Big World at 7:00 p.m . tonight.
On the menu for tonight:
Grilled chicken, french cut green beans, stewed potatoes, macaroni & cheese, and biscuits.
On my To Do List:
Make the bed and pick up in bedroom
Go over and help Skylar (4 hours)
Do a few loads of laundry.
Clean and declutter laundry room
Cook dinner and wash dishes.
New Recipe I tried last week:
Chicken Salad
1 can chicken breast
1/3 package Hidden Valley Ranch dressing
3 hard boiled eggs
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 tablespoon mustard
1/4 cup chopped pickles (dill or sweet)
1 small onion, chopped
salt
pepper
In a mixing bowl add chicken and shred. Add mustard and pickles; mix until blended. Add ranch dressing; mix until blended. Add eggs, onions, salt and pepper; blend. Serve on lettuce leaves or on sandwich.
In the craft basket:
Empty
Looking forward to:
Getting my house uncluttered and in order. I spent all of last week and plan to spend this week as well cleaning out closets, cabinets, and laundry room. These are all places that I clutter up because it can't be seen.
Homemaking tip for this week:
Don't be like me; declutter often. When you first notice clutter, remove it and put it in its rightful place.

Favorite photo from last week:
Not a photo but it depicts the love that I have for my husband and the love that I feel from him. . . . . . ALTHOUGH we are not that old yet.
Lesson learned the past few days:
Change happens for a reason. Roll with it. It won’t be easy, but it will be worth it.
On my Prayer List:
My husband and children
Skylar and other family members
Devotionals, Scripture Reading, Key Verses:

Devotionals, Scripture Reading, Key Verses:
Titus 2:3-5 ----(3) The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; (4) That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, (5) To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

That is a great list Elizabeth. I agree on the clutter. It is so easy to build up in my home too! Have a wonderful day dear friend! Elena
