Odd Things About Me

I found this at A Joyful Chaos and decided I would like to participate. I enjoy doing these because it gives me an opportunity to share things about myself that I would probably never think to otherwise.

ODD THINGS ABOUT ME

1. Do you like bleu cheese? No.

2. Have you ever smoked? Yes, I quit almost 10 months ago after smoking over 30 years.

3. Do you own a gun? I don't personally own one but my husband owns several and he keeps one next to the bed in the night stand that I have access to.

4. What color Kool Aid was your favorite? Red (Cherry).

5. Do you get nervous before doctor appointments? I still get a little nervous but not as much as I use to.

6. What do you think of hot dogs? I do not eat them. I was watching the show "You Are What You Eat" and she showed what goes into them . . . I will never eat another one.

7. Favorite Christmas movie? I don't really have a favorite but I always liked the old black & white version of "Miracle On 34th Street."

8. What do you prefer to drink in the morning? Orange Juice.

9. Can you do push ups? Yes, the girly ones on bended knees.

10. What's your favorite piece of jewelry? My wedding band. I have not been able to wear it in 20 years due to me gaining weight . . . wearing it again is one of my goals for this year.

11. Favorite hobby? Gardening . . . flower and vegetable.

12. Do you have A. D. D.? Yes. A A A D D - Age Activated Attention Deficit Disorder. I posted a poem about this recently and it could have been written about me.

13. Do you wear glasses/contacts? Yes, reading glasses. I have dark brown eyes and I was proud of them because I have always been told that they were the strongest . . . that is until I turned 45 years old. I'm wearing glasses just like everyone else my age . . . regardless of eye color.

15. Name 3 thoughts at this exact moment. I can hear my husband snoring all the way in here from our bedroom. I need to clean my desk off and polish it. I need to hook the new black key board up on my computer. My computer system is black but I have been using a white keyboard that goes to our old computer since my black one stopped working . . . about 3 months ago.

16. Name 3 drinks you regularly drink? Orange juice, water and cokes.

17. Current worry? I have been trying to trust in God more and worry less but I have to admit I worry about Skylar alot.

18. Current hate? I can't think of anything I hate but I extremely dislike snakes and mice.

19. Where would you like to go? I don't like to travel much but I think I would enjoy going to Lancaster, Pennsylvania and seeing where the Amish live. I admire them for the simple ways in which they choose to live.

22. Name three people who will complete this: I have no idea.

23. Do you own slippers? Yes, several pair.

24. What color shirt are you wearing? White.

25. Do you like sleeping on satin sheets? No, I prefer cotton sheets most of the time but we have flannel sheets on our bed right now. . .it has been cold the past few days.

26. Can you whistle? No.

27. Where are you now? The computer room.

28. Would you be a pirate? Never!!!

29. What songs do you sing in the shower? I never take showers and I never sing while taking a bath.

30. Favorite Girl's Name? Kenlee. My husband and son's name is Kenneth Lee

31. Favorite boy's name? Canton

32. What's in your pocket right now? I am sitting here at the computer in my PJ's and I have no pockets .

33. Who last made you laugh? My husband. He can always make me laugh.

34. What vehicle do you drive? A Ford Explorer SUV.

35. Worst injury you've ever had? I cut my hand open while washing a glass that I did not know was broken.

36. Do you love where you live? Yes, we built our home before we were married and this is where we began our life together and raised our family.

37. How many TVs do you have in your house? 4.
