Monday Ramblings

This tree is 9 feet tall, I am 5 feet tall. I have to spend alot of time going up and down the ladder to decorate the top part of it. You can click on the picture to get a bigger view.

There have been a few comments about my ability to use my ceiling fan with the upside down tree attached. As you can see in these photos, I am still able to use it. The photos of the tree in my previous post shows the fan off. The decorations for the upside down tree are wired on and are very secure. The fan actually has no affect on the tree. Thank you for all the comments. It is very nice of you to take the time to leave one and I appreciate it.

Yesterday I finally finished decorating the den, kitchen, and dining room for Christmas. This morning I got up early and went over to my sister's house at 6:15 to help get my nephew, Skylar, a bath and dressed to go to therapy. He is finally well enough to return to Atlanta, GA. for his Beyond Therapy Program. He has had a slight pressure sore, urinary tract infection and ingrown toenail and been unable to go for the past three weeks.. He has to deal with these problems quite often because of his paralysis. He also has problems with his blood pressure, body temperature, and spasms and he cannot cough deeply on his own. We have to cough him when he needs help. He will be there until Wednesday, and I hope to get caught up on all my chores while he is gone. Afterwards, I came back home and got dressed to go shopping for groceries and I managed to pick up a few gifts. I still have a few bins of Christmas decorations to put out and then I can get busy with my cleaning. I also have a lot of laundry and ironing to catch up on. I had better go and get busy. Thank you for visiting and I hope you have a great afternoon.
