Rain Rain, & More Rain

Flooding

We have had a lot of rain recently and now many areas are flooded. Yesterday alone our area received up to 6 inches. Our county school system had to close today and will be closed tomorrow. Several roads in our area are also closed and many people are having trouble getting to their homes. Today we had a break from the rain and had a sunny day but rain is back in the forecast for Saturday. As far as working on changing my bad eating habits I have not had a good week. I did good on Monday but yesterday morning I woke up at 4:30 a.m. with a migraine headache. I got up and took two Excedrin Migraine tablets and went back to bed. I stayed in bed until about 8:00 a.m. and got up and got dressed to go care for Skylar, my nephew. I actually felt better but I did not feel like eating breakfast. I stayed over at at Skylar's until around 12:30 p.m. and my head was hurting again. I came home and my husband went to Subway to get us lunch. I ate, took some Aleve, and laid down for a couple hours. I did not feel like eating supper. This morning I did manage to eat a doughnut and I also had a coke. I know, not very healthy but I do not like the caffeine withdrawal headaches and I overslept. I went and cared for my nephew, came home and had a sandwich and glass of water for lunch. Supper I had a grilled hamburger and glass of water. I did not manage to have any snacks and I have not exercised any. Tonight I have made out a meal plan for tomorrow and hopefully I will do much better. Old habits are so hard to break but I will succeed. Thank you for stopping by.

I hope you are feeling a bit better this morning! Sounds like you are having both sugar and caffeine withdrawals ... not fun at all and, of course, all the bad weather doesn't help! While you are feeling so bad, try drinking orange juice or some other fruit juice instead of the sodas and take a good multi-vitamin ... especially your B vitamins! And if you're feeling yucky in the morning, a slice of toast would at least rev up your metabolism a little and get you started. Take care!! Hugs ... Marcia
