Show & Tell Friday-Romantic & Pastoral Items

Today is "Show & Tell Friday" hosted by Kelli at There is no place like home. I am participating by showing some of my romantic tapestries and other items that depict romantic scenes and pastoral landscapes. I have most of the items in my master bedroom.

I bought this framed tapestry on clearance at Hobby Lobby 9 years ago. The part of the frame that is now cream was black when I bought it. I repainted it in a crackle finish. It is hanging in my master bedroom.

I also bought this framed tapestry on clearance at Hobby Lobby at the same time that I bought the one above. This frame was also black and gold and I repainted it in the cream colored crackle finish. It is hanging in my master bedroom.

I ordered this one from Seventh Avenue. It is hanging in the sunroom at this time but I plan to move it back to the master bedroom next week. I am afraid it will fade alot with all the sunlight in that room.

This is a pillow that I made to go on the bed in the master bedroom. I can't remember where I got the tapestry piece.

I bought this small bottle several years ago at an antique store. It is in my master bathroom.

A bought a set of these urns at Ross's last year. They set on the dresser in the master bedroom.

A music box that I bought about 10 years ago at an antique store. It also sets on the dresser between the two urns.

Thank you for stopping by and please be sure to visit Kelli and see what she and other participants are showing this week. Have a nice weekend.

Beautiful pieces of art. They are all so victorian & feminine. I like how you redid the frames. I didn't see what they looked like before but I like how they turned out.

Elizabeth ===> Thank you for the heads up about the spring cleaning challenge. When I opened my vac up for the first time I was horrified to find how dirty it was !! My husband was so angry that it wasn't working right he was going to throw it away !! When I was done it was just like new.
