This little firefighter has nothing to do with blooming but I thought I would include it since it is in my flower bed. My husband is a member of our local Volunteer Fire Department and he bought this little concrete statue about 12 years ago.

I would like to say thanks to ms greenthumb jean's blogspot for hosting "Blooming Tuesday." The weather here has been beautiful the past few days. My husband and I spent the weekend working in the yard: cleaning up, weeding, planting, and putting out new mulch We managed to get alot done but I still have much to do. Most of my day lillies are up. I planted 72 different kind 3 years ago and I don't know how many lived but I know that the majority of them did. They will have to be thinned this fall. I am very happy that spring is almost here and everything is turning green and blooming once more. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you will visit Ms. Jean to see what she and other participants have bloomin today.

Just wonderful, are you sure that's a weed and not a Ipheion?
When the weather is beautiful it is hard to stay indoors isn't it? :) Your Bradford Pear & Magnolia blossoms are heavenly.
It is nice to see your flowers Elizabeth. I see you finally got your hoped for snow! Hooray for you! The pup is a cutie. Pretty tiny huh?
Really cold here with northwinds. So no flowers and nor ground but we do get glorious sunshine with the cold temps always. If it was cloudy it would be warmer. Then it would snow. Am waiting for warm sunshine that melts snow all at the same time. Have fun with your spring cleaning Roxanne
Magnolia is on my drool list, I see, I drool! Love all the blooms! I bet your bulbs are really something to see.
Gorgeous blooms, don't ya just love the Japanese Magnolia, mine not in full bloom yet. Can't wait to see more of your garden. Hugs, Rosemarie
