Spring Cleaning-Family Room

I started my spring cleaning on Monday. I am so thankful to "Real Me" at Meaningful Days for hosting this challenge. I have taken down everything on the walls and cleaned it and cleaned the walls. Today, I hope to have everything back up except for the curtains. I have decided to make new ones. Hopefully, I can get them made this weekend. I placed all the items that I took off the walls in the center of the room and it has been there since Monday. I am very thankful that we have not had any company because the room is a bit messy but it is a clean mess. Below are some photos of different areas of my "cleaning mess" and my cleaning schedule.

Family Room/Den
March 2-5, 2009

Monday
Clean ceiling, corners, top of doorways and top of entertainment center for cobwebs.
Clean ceiling fan and air-conditioner vents
Dust light bulbs.
Take down everything on walls; clean it and set aside.
Wash walls and baseboards
Tuesday
Clean blinds
Clean windows and window sills
Clean all glass.
Clean and disinfectant doorknobs, telephone, switch plates, and other fingerprinted areas.
Wednesday
Hang items back on wall
Clean and polish wood furniture, fireplace mantle, stair rail, door, and cabinets.
Clean tile around fire place
Vacuum sofa and love seat,
Move furniture and clean under and behind.
Take sofa and loveseat cushions outside and beat with a broom to remove dust. Vacuum afterwards.
Put pillows in dryer on fluff air and place outside in sun if weather is nice
Thursday
Clean TV
Dust and clean stereo
Sort and organize DVD's & CD's
Go through magazines & discard
Clean lamps and shades
Take out small rug and beat with a broom, hang in sun to freshen.
Vacuum large area rug
Sweep hardwood floor
Mop floor with vinegar and water
