Another week almost gone and I am happy to see this one end. Other than my birthday this has been a week of sadness. We said goodbye to three people from our community this week. One was my 65 year old Aunt who died in her sleep last Saturday while on vacation in the Smoky Mountains. She was buried on Wednesday Another was Jennifer, who went to school with our son and lived just up the street from us. She was 28 and died as a result of overdosing on too many pain pills and anti-depressants. No, she wasn't trying to kill herself, she was addicted to them and took too many. She was in the hospital on life support for 2 1/2 weeks before dying Tuesday. Jennifer was an only child but she had a 3 year old son that her parents will be raising because she never named his father. Certainly a sad situation but he does have his grandparents, who are good christian people. And lastly is Richard, a very kind 62 year old man, that my husband built a new home for 2 years ago and who also lived just up the street from us. He died Thursday from lung disease. Please join me in praying for these families as they mourn the loss of their loved ones. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
